Happy #NationalPharmacistDay! NCPA thanks all pharmacists out there for their dedication to patient care. Filling prescriptions is a vital health care service, but pharmacists do so much more: They advise patients on their medicines, answer their health questions, administer immunizations, and increasingly fill health care gaps left when physicians and other health care professionals close up shop in communities.
Independent community pharmacists are the leaders of the pharmacy world. We are scrappy, innovative, and embedded in the communities we serve. NCPA will always fight for independent community pharmacists, in 2026 and beyond.
