Congratulations to Table Rock Pharmacy in Morganton, N.C., for winning the 2025 Pinnacle Award. The honor, issued by AlignRx, recognizes the achievements of the PSAO's members in areas like patient care, business innovation, and advocacy.
AlignRx cited several reasons for selecting Table Rock as its winner: It was the first pharmacy in its state to be certified as a yellow fever vaccine site as well as the first in its county to provide long-acting injectable services, A1C testing, and hormonal contraceptive prescribing. It also recognized the heroic actions of Jessi Stout, PharmD, and Michael Stout during Hurricane Helene. They continued to provide medications to patients during a power outage and went so far as to carry a generator to the pharmacy in a wheelbarrow, dodging fallen trees and power lines along the way to ensure their patients' medications were still usable.
