Becky Snead, senior director of strategic initiatives and the Long-Term Care Division at NCPA, joined representatives from the Alliance for Long-Term Care Pharmacy @ Home last week in a meeting with the White House Domestic Policy Council to express the need for expanded access to LTC pharmacy at home. NCPA is a founding member of the alliance, whose mission is to enhance patient access to LTC pharmacy services in the comfort of patients’ own homes.
Other meeting participants included Jim Lewis from the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists; Katie Streaker from Managed Healthcare Associates; Shara Selonick from the Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition; and Catherine Finley and JP Brandt from Thorn Run Partners.
