Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) signed into law SF 383, strong legislation led by the Iowa Pharmacy Association. Among other things, the law requires reimbursement not less than NADAC plus a professional dispensing fee of $10.68. It requires the use of pass-through pricing, has strong any willing provider provisions, and prohibits arbitrary accreditation requirements. The law also addresses rebates and bolsters oversight and enforcement authority. NCPA recently wrote to the governor urging her to sign the bill into law.
