The front end of a retail pharmacy is typically the first impression for customers. With ever-shrinking prescription margins and reimbursements, your front end may be more important than ever as a source of non-prescription revenue. In an upcoming issue of America's Pharmacist®, we'll focus on front-end merchandising trends and innovations, and we'd love to hear about what you're doing. Are you marketing more OTC products, vitamins and supplements, or wellness items? Encouraging companion sales of OTC and other non-prescription products when patients come in to pick up their prescriptions?
