Hundreds of community pharmacy advocates descended on Capitol Hill yesterday to press for independent community pharmacy priorities as part of our Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In, and we're doing it again today. Yesterday morning, Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) delivered opening remarks to a maxed-out ballroom outlining various ongoing legislative developments related to NCPA priorities, including the relationship of those priorities to the congressional budget reconciliation process. Attendees then headed over to the Capitol, where they met with members of Congress and their staff to share the importance of PBM reform and other NCPA priorities.
