Advocacy doesn’t stop on Capitol Hill

Just because you're not here with us in person for fly-in doesn't mean you can't voice your support for PBM reform. Make yourself heard and echo what we're delivering in person by sending your own message to your members of Congress urging them to pass PBM reform measures immediately.

Tell your legislators that Congress must act swiftly to finalize and pass legislation that contains the following:

  • Prohibitions on the use of spread pricing in Medicaid managed care programs that would move to a fair and transparent pharmacy reimbursement system based on average acquisition costs plus the state's Medicaid fee-for-service dispensing fee.

  • Requirements for CMS to define and enforce "reasonable and relevant" Medicare Part D contract terms, including those related to reimbursements.

  • Recognition of pharmacists as health care providers by passing ECAPS.

In addition to these legislative measures, urge your representative to sign onto a letter led by Carter and Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.), advising CMS to correct course on implementation of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program.
