The Emergency Prescription Assistance Program activations in states affected by Hurricane Helene and wildfires in California are set to expire in the coming days. The California EPAP will expire tomorrow, March 15. The EPAPs activated in Georgia and North Carolina because of Helene will expire March 31, and the Tennessee EPAP will expire April 1.

EPAPs are programs activated by the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Strategic Preparedness & Response to help uninsured residents replace prescription medicines or certain medical equipment lost or damaged during emergencies. The Helene-related EPAPs have been in place since October of last year, and the California EPAP in January of this year.
