Advice for Trump on Health Policy

Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, rolled out his health policy agenda recently. The consensus among free-market analysts was that Trump's proposal is incomplete, has no unifying framework and needs further work. NCPA senior fellow Devon Herrick has some advice on health care that Trump should consider. Herrick's prescription is to allow insurance plan flexibility, provide Americans without employer coverage a tax credit, expand HSAs, speed up the FDA to make drugs more affordable and improve price transparency by making it harder to collect fees when doctor and patients have not signed an agreement ahead of time explaining costs.
