NCPA’s Bartlett To Appear On CNBC’s Capitol Report

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 7, 2003) -- Bruce Bartlett, senior fellow with the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), will appear tonight (Friday, February 07, 2003) on CNBC’s Capitol Report. The show airs from 6:30 to 7:30 pm ET. Check local listings. Bartlett will discuss President Bush’s budget request and the impact of deficits on interest rates. Bruce testified before the House/Senate Democratic Policy Committee today on this issue, saying "deficit fears are exaggerated" and they will have a "trivial impact on interest rates."
