NCPA Experts Available To Discuss Details, Pros-cons
WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 4, 2003)
-- In a speech today before the American Medical Association, President Bush will present a framework for revamping Medicare to provide seniors with additional coverage options, including private insurance coverage that includes prescription drugs.
The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA), the nation’s leading think tank on free-market health care reform, has a team of experts available to discuss the President’s plan. NCPA President John C. Goodman, who in recent days has appeared with Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson at public health care forums, has spent nearly a decade researching and promoting the idea of providing seniors with the same health coverage options routinely given to non-seniors.
