NCPA HEALTH ECONOMIST TESTIFIES ON MEDICARE

WASHINGTON, D.C. - National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) President John Goodman will testify before a Senate subcommittee that the Medicare program, combined with other elderly entitlements, could claim more than half of the income of future workers at the time today's college students reach the retirement age. If the taxes cannot be collected, health care rationing will be inevitable.

The adoption of a fully-funded system where each generation pays for its own medical care will be targeted by Dr. Goodman as the best option for Medicare reform
