Experts Set to Battle Over School Voucher Issue

Dallas, TX - The National Center for Policy Analysis and CEO America will present the live taping of William F. Buckley, Jr.'s Firing Line Debate on the topic Resolved: Government Should Not Discriminate Against Private Schools Monday, June 9 at Texas Christian University.

The taping will feature a panel of experts debating school choice and school voucher programs, an issue central to all parents concerned about the quality of their children's education.

Following the two-hour debate, two 30 minute Firing Line programs on the same topic are scheduled from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. All three programs will be broadcast locally on KERA channel 13 and other PBS affiliates across the country. The two-hour debate will air June 20, 1997.
