Stephen Moore To Speak At NCPA/Federal Reserve Bank Policy Forum |
WHO: Stephen Moore, economist and author President, Club for Growth, headquartered in Washington, D.C.
WHAT: Will discuss his recently published book, It's Getting Better All the Time: The Greatest Trends of the Last 100 Years, and Club for Growth, a membership organization of political contributors who are frustrated with the ideological drift of both political parties.
WHEN: Noon, June 6; registration begins at 11:15 a.m. in the lobby.
WHERE: Second floor auditorium of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, 2200 N. Pearl St.
Moore also is a contributing editor to National Review, serves on the economic board of advisors for Time Magazine and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Human Events and Reader's Digest. He co-authored the book, It's Getting Better All the Time: The Greatest Trends of the Last 100 Years, with Julian Lincoln Simon. "There has been more improvement in the human condition in the past 100 years than in all previous centuries combined since man first appeared on the earth," the authors wrote. "This is the best time on earth to ever have lived."
