NCPA Experts Support Expanding Access to Medical Savings Accounts (MSAs) |
House Ways & Means Chairman Archer To Propose MSA Plan to Cover More Uninsured Today.
Washington, DC - With the Medical Savings Accounts demonstration project due to expire on December 31, 2000, National Center for Policy Analysis health policy experts John C. Goodman, Greg Scandlen and Jack Strayer, all of whom helped develop and market the concept of Medical Savings Accounts, are available to comment on Chairman Archer's plan to lift "demonstration" qualifications from MSA legislation to expand access to MSAs to all Americans. Dr. John C. Goodman, president of the Dallas-based National Center for Policy Analysis, has commonly been referred to as "the father of Medical Savings Accounts."
