National School Choice Summit: Experts to Answer Questions About Choice, Offer Roadmap For Reform

WASHINGTON -- As a positive consensus is beginning to form between Republicans and Democrats over most of President Bush's education reform plan, there appears to be only one main area of contention: school choice.
The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) and Children First America (CFA) will hold a one-day conference on reform of the public schools. Speakers will address different aspects of the issue and will highlight their contribution to An Education Agenda: Let Parents Choose Their Children's School, the new book with an introduction by Lynne Cheney. Some of the topics to be discussed at the conference include:
