NCPA Senior Fellow Sterling Burnett told Environment and Climate News that in less than one month, the cost estimate for a proposed 75 megawatt solar power plant has soared by more than 200 percent, and said that solar power is ultimately an expensive alternative to coal power, which is much cheaper and reliable.
