Adopting public policies that adapt to changing global temperatures rather than trying to prevent them saves both lives and resources, according to study to be released next week by the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) E-Team Project.

"Living with climate change costs a fraction of what public policies that try to prevent warming, like the Kyoto Protocol, would cost," said Indur Goklany, the study's author. " Kyoto and other preventive strategies condemn thousands to poverty, disease and even death."
