Eileen Curry Resnik

Eileen Resnik is senior development officer at the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA).  Formerly director of the Murphy Enterprise Center at the University of North Texas (UNT), Eileen was responsible for the operations of the Center, including: planning, coordinating, fundraising and the educational programs.

Eileen has over 20 years of success in corporate, government and educational settings.  At UNT she secured over $1.5 million in grants for programs, a $1 million endowment, and operated one of the few financially independent centers or institutes at UNT.  She also planned, organized and implemented an annual event for 1000+ attendees to promote the University.

Her background also includes successful stints with Johnson Controls, Inc where she set a sales branch record for sales of $2,570,000 and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). As a County Extension Agent for the Texas Agricultural Extension Service she was responsible for coordinating special events for 26,000 youth annually and marketing programs. She also secured funding for educational programs and organized outreach initiatives with civic and community groups.

Ms. Resnik is especially proud of her efforts to develop and foster entrepreneurial opportunities for Texas students at all levels of the educational spectrum. Her successes include the development of the Connections breakfast series for small business owners, and entrepreneurship education programs for DISD and Frisco ISD educators.

While at UNT, she served as the university's System Representative to the Texas Higher Education Economic Development Committee.
