Boehner is chairman of the House Education and Workforce Committee and Rep. Johnson is chairman of the committee's Employer-Employee Relations Subcommittee.

  • NCPA Senior Fellow and Public Trustee of Social Security and Medicare Thomas R. Saving addressed the St. Louis Investment Management Corporation's general session about “Social Security Reform: What Are the Real Choices?” on September 20. He also told the Northern Colorado Summit on National Economic Issues on September 15 that Social Security must be reformed now.
  • Bartlett participated in a forum on the economy sponsored by Joint Economic Committee Democrats and the Democratic Policy Committee on September 23 in Washington, D.C. The panel included Robert Rubin, Alan Blinder, Roger Altman, Alice Rivlin and Cecilia Rouse.
