- NCPA President John C. Goodman told Fox News Channel’s Your World with Neil Cavuto on July 1 that Health Savings Accounts are rapidly becoming popular with both employers and employees.
- NCPA Senior Fellow Bruce Bartlett told CBS Market Watch on June 30 that by tightening the economy through higher interest rates the Fed may precipitate a financial crisis. His remarks also appeared in the Chicago Tribune and on AFX.
- On June 16, CNNfn referenced an NCPA report that younger workers are more likely than their older peers to be uninsured. The story aired several times during the day including during Market Roundtable, Opening Bell, Last Call and The Flip Side.
- NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett told KERA-TV’s On the Record (PBS) on June 13 that hybrid and alternative vehicles should not be developed because of a perceived shortage of oil.
- Bartlett told CNBC’s Kudlow & Cramer on June 11 that even the most liberal critics of President Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts now realize some of the benefits of keeping rates low.
- NCPA Policy Chairman Pete du Pont told the Fox NewsChannel on June 9 that the late President Reagan’s greatest legacy will be his economic reforms and foreign policy.
- Bartlett told the June 6 edition of CNNfn’s Lou Dobbs Tonight Live Event Special that former President Ronald Reagan’s greatest legacy will be the supply-side economic turnaround he engineered. His remarks also appeared on Kudlow & Cramer, the Cox News Service, Nightly Business Report, CNNfn’s Money Morning, Market Call and The Flipside, and were the basis for his June 7 syndicated column in the Washington Times and New York Sun.
- Burnett discussed energy in the 21st century on the McCuistion (PBS-TV) program on May 16.
- Burnett told TXCN's Prime program on April 21 that genetically engineered trees do not threaten the ecology.
- Goodman told CNNfn's Money & Markets program on April 16 that Sen. John Kerry's health plan will be expensive.
- Goodman told Dolan's Unscripted (CNNfn) on April 16 that HSAs will play a major role not only in healthcare reform, but also this year's elections.
