  • NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett told KERA-FM’s (Dallas-Fort Worth) Morning Edition Commentary on June 16 and 11 that we are not running out of oil. His comments also appeared on the Voice of America.
  • Burnett told the May 26 edition of the Craig Rucker syndicated radio program that Russia and the World Trade Organization won't accelerate adoption of the Kyoto protocols.
  • Burnett told the May 25 edition of the Ernie Brown nationally syndicated radio program that the oil for food program in Iraq will not affect oil production or revenues.
  • Burnett told WBUR-FM's ( Boston) Here and Now program on May 21 that the Massachusetts Attorney General's call for an investigation of gasoline prices is not warranted. The program also is syndicated nationally.
  • Burnett also told KJCE-FM’s ( Austin, TX) Brin Wisdom syndicated radio program that the oil for food program in Iraq won’t damage future yields.
  • Burnett told KERA-FM (Dallas-Ft. Worth) in a May 14 commentary that the state of the environment is improving and that's troubling for many environmental leaders.
  • Burnett told KERA-FM's (Dallas-Ft. Worth) Morning Edition program on May 4 that the state of the environment today is better than on the first Earth Day.
  • NCPA Policy Chairman Pete du Pont discussed the free trade versus fair trade controversy on the Small Business Advocate syndicated radio program on April 30.
  • Burnett discussed the role a cap on mercury emissions from power plants may have on the presidential election on WCPM (Cleveland, NPR) on April 20.
  • NCPA Senior Fellow Devon Herrick told Wisconsin Public Radio on April 14 that Sen. Kerry's "Misery Index" is subjective.
  • NCPA Senior Fellow Bruce Bartlett told April 7 edition of Marketplace (PRI) that Sen. John Kerry's proposal to crackdown on corporate welfare won't make much difference practically or politically, and the Bush Administration is vulnerable on the budget issue.
  • Herrick told BBC World News (radio) on April 6 that privatization boosts national economies.
  • Burnett told The Bob Dutko Show pm WMUZ-FM ( Detroit) that Sen. Kerry's economic plan would fuel the rise in gasoline prices. His comments also appeared on KRNC-AM's ( Denver) Ken Hamblin Show.
