  • The Dallas Morning News and nationally syndicated personal finance columnist Scott Burns discussed his new book, "The Coming Generational Storm: What You Need to Know About America's Economic Future," at an NCPA Fed Policy Forum co-hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and sponsored by the Hillcrest Foundation on June 10. Burns co-wrote the book with NCPA Senior Fellow Laurence Kotlikoff. http://www.ncpa.org/evn/pforum/sburns_invite.htm
  • On May 4, John Goodman hosted a luncheon for Members of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations at the Crescent Club. The guest speaker was John Blundell, General Director of the Institute of Economic Affairs in London, England.
  • The NCPA’s Chairman’s Council Conference was hosted by NCPA Policy Chairman Governor Pete du Pont and his wife Elise on April 25-28 in the Brandywine Valley of Delaware. Highlights of the excursions included dinners at Longwood Gardens and the Winterthur Museum, and tours of the Brandywine River Museum and Hagley Powder Mills.
