  • NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett told KCNO-FM ( Alturas, CA) on March 12 that California’s warmer weather is part of a natural climate cycle and not tied to “man-made global warming.”
  • NCPA Policy Chairman Pete du Pont told Small Business Advocate, a nationally syndicated radio program, that jobs and free trade/fair trade will be the key election-year issues in the economy.
  • Burnett told KERA-FM (Dallas-Fort Worth) that wind power doesn’t deliver the environmental benefits it promises.
  • Burnett discussed the death penalty and how it applies to the mentally disturbed on Wisconsin Public Radio on February 3.
  • Bartlett told WHYY-AM ( Philadelphia) that spending by the Bush Administration is uncharacteristic of recent Republican regimes.
  • Burnett told the Bob Barr Show on Radio America on February 1 that capital punishment is a deterrent to crime.
  • NCPA Senior Policy Analyst Matt Moore told KPSI-AM ( Palm Springs, CA) on January 20 that Social Security must be reformed, especially the implementation of personal retirement accounts.
  • NCPA Senior Fellow Devon Herrick told KPSI-AM ( Palm Springs, CA) that Health Savings Accounts will revolutionize both the U.S. healthcare and health insurance industries.
  • Herrick told WCPN-FM ( Cleveland ) on January 5 that HSAs will be popular with both employers and employees, and also with both conservatives and liberals.
