• Goodman spoke to an assembly of state senators and legislators about consumer-driven healthcare and the impact of the Medicare reform bill at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul on December 10 sponsored by the Minnesota Taxpayer’s League Foundation.

• Goodman discussed consumer-driven healthcare with top-level executives of Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Indianapolis on November 19.

• Goodman debated Social Security at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Conference in San Diego on November 10.

• Goodman told the Healthy Florida Foundation on November 7 that consumer-driven health plans will dominate the health insurance market within the next 5 years.

• NCPA Senior Economist Barry Asmus spoke about the effect of global events on the U.S. economy in Chicago, Pebble Beach (CA), Boston, Lansing (MI), Houston, Scottsdale (AZ) and Tampa.
