  • NCPA Senior Fellow Celeste Colgan told the Small Business Advocate on December 17 that women entrepreneurs will compose a substantial voting bloc in the 2004 elections in all races.

  • NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett discussed plans by the State of Texas to sue the EPA over greenhouse gas regulation on KPFT Radio (Houston).

  • NCPA Senior Fellow William Conerly told KUOW Radio (Seattle) on December 13 that self-employment is increasing and it’s never been easier for entrepreneurs to start businesses because of technological changes.

  • Burnett discussed the energy bill on the November 20 edition of the nationally syndicated Greg Garrison Show, based out of WIBC. Burnett and NCPA E-Team Adjunct Scholar Chris Horner also discussed the good, the bad and the ugly of the energy legislation on Radio America’s "Behind the Headlines" on November 19.

  • Burnett’s thoughts on opening a portion of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) for oil exploration were discussed in a commentary on Dallas NPR affiliate KERA-FM on November 19 during the national Morning Edition program.

    n November 2, Burnett discussed with KTAR-AM (Phoenix) whether the Healthy Forest initiative passed in Congress will help prevent future catastrophic fires like the ones blazing California.

  • Burnett’s remarks about drilling in the ANWR were delivered in a special commentary broadcast on KERA-FM (Dallas-Ft. Worth) on October 13.

  • NCPA Senior Fellow Devon Herrick told the Pat Campbell Show on WOMP-AM and WSTV-AM in the Ohio Valley that many people are uninsured by choice

  • Burnett told KERA-FM's The People's Agenda (Dallas-Fort Worth) on October 3 that a resurgent Republican Party environmental movement should not support intrusive government involvement.
