  • NCPA Policy Analyst Matt Moore's remarks on the Texas Report Card, a study on the value added by Texas schools, appeared on KRLD Newsradio, WBAP-AM, and KFWR-FM, all in Dallas-Fort Worth.

  • NCPA Research Manager Devon Herrick told Associated Press on June 16 that patients could reduce the cost of prescription drugs by as much as 90 percent by using shopping techniques that would be considered normal in any market but health care. Herrick's remarks also appeared on WAMO-AM and -FM, WPGR-FM and WSSZ-FM in Pittsburgh.

  • On June 11, NCPA Senior Fellow William Conerly told KINK Radio (Portland, OR) that Oregon's "Rainy Day" fund can lay the groundwork for greater spending during boom periods.

  • NCPA Senior Fellow Bruce Bartlett discussed the Bush tax cut on May 9 on the Laura Ingraham nationally syndicated radio program and on May 29 on PRI's MarketPlace program.

  • NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett discussed the assault weapons ban on ABC Radio on May 14.

  • On May 5, Team NCPA's Iowa poll, showing that most registered voters are concerned about Social Security reform, appeared on WHO-AM in Des Moines, WMT-AM in Cedar Rapids and KSCJ-AM in Sioux City (all IA).

  • NCPA Senior Fellow Celeste Colgan told CBS Radio's MarketWatch program on March 24 that the U.S. economy must adapt to the changing needs of women in the workforce.

  • The Rush Limbaugh Show and the show's Web site featured Bartlett's research that USDA calculations determining the definition of poverty are not indexed for inflation.

  • Conerly discussed views on freedom and prosperity on KTOK's Cam Edwards Show, WKY's Shannon & Stein Show and KOMA's Carole Arnold Show (all Oklahoma City).
