Terry Neese, NCPA Distinguished Fellow, CPC, CEO and founder of Terry Neese Personnel Services, made history in 1990 as the first woman nominated by a major political party for Lt. Governor of Oklahoma. As cofounder of WIPP, Women Impacting Public Policy, a national bipartisan public policy organization advocating for women in business, Terry represented the organization's more than 505,000 members on Capitol Hill and to the Administration. She was recognized in the September 2000 issue of Fortune magazine as one of the Power 30 - the most influential small businesspersons in Washington, D.C. In March 2007, she was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame. Terry testifies on a regular basis before the U.S. House and Senate and is part of a "Brain Trust" that provides important input to the Small Business Administration and various coalitions. She has built coalitions in both the Democratic and Republican Parties to get key legislation passed.

President George H.W. Bush appointed Terry as a commissioner to the National Advisory Council on Indian Education, and in the late ‘90s President Clinton retained her on the council. President George H.W. Bush also appointed Terry to serve on the SBA Small Business Advisory Council. Terry also is Global Corporate Vice President of Business and Development/Public Policy for the Euro-American Women's Council.

In February 2003, President George W. Bush appointed Terry to a three-year term as a member of the National Women's Business Council, a bipartisan federal government council created to serve as an independent source of advice and counsel to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues of importance to women business owners. Most recently Terry was appointed to the Advisory Council for the United States Committee for United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) which helps women in over 100 developing nations achieve equality by providing financial and technical assistance to projects that foster the development of women's economic security, promote women's human rights, and increase women's participation in decision-making processes that shape their lives.

Terry is married to Earl N. Neese. Her daughter, Kim Neese, is CEO of Terry Neese Personnel Services and is the proud mom of Emily and Erin. They all reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
